It served as a one-night stop to visit the beautiful Ring of Kerry
Great base to explore the Kerry Ring. Nice accomidations with a very good size room and comfy beds, and for the price I would say they beat my expectations. Not right in the town, but a very short drive to get to all the big attractions there (farthest drive was the ladies view, about 30 min with waterfall enroute). Breakfast was alright, not bad but not great. Overall, though, it would be hard to find better value for money in a hotel.
excellent hotel, location not bad but taxi €10 a bit steep into town and €6 return...some difference...!!! but lovely and comfortable, excellent rate of €40.00 room only for this standard of hotel
staff were only ok, only that a waiter overheard making comment to my friend about lack of service and only then did he take over looking after us which was good...also i didn't say it but while room was cleaned, a dirty sock from previous guest i assume was in between dresser table and luggage table so room was not checked throughly before letting put ;-(
Quiet location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, good breakfast
No swimming pool/leisure facilities
Convenient on outskirts of Killarney. Plenty of Parking available
The rooms were large but the pillows were not very comfortable. The kettle button would not stay on and the only way to boil it was to hold it in the on position. The showers is fine over the bath but be prepared for a long wait before it runs hot
It was excellent value and the views from the hotel were great.
The traffic on the main road is very noisy and i couldn't sleep with it and had to wear ear plugs. The windows are not sound proofed.
Excellent hotel best value in killarney breakfast was great staff were so friendly
Convenience, good staff, friendly
A bit quiet!, not much atmosphere, ok for business trip, but drab for a weekend break or holiday
I liked the pub within the Hotel
Staff were not friendly at the front reception desk or for breakfast on both days that we were there. Constant sounds in the walls from water pipes and had a hard time sleeping.
The frindly atmosphere and room size
Breakfast advertised in car park for €9 but charged €10 when paying. Also thought €10 very expensive for child of 10years for breakfast. Most hotel if they charged for child breakfast it would be €5
Food was good
Room facilities were poor, shower was awful, water pressure and temperature kept changing. Could not get tv to work.Staff member knocked on our door at 12pm to tell us we had to be out by 12pm (we were well aware of that). We were wedding guests and paid enough so a couple of minutes grace would be appreciated.
we liked the size of the hotel and the availability of both pub and restaurant.
It was a beautiful hotel and the staff were really pleasant. All the facilities were great and it was value for money.
Yes, I think it was the noise of the lift going up and down constant. We found it very hard to sleep as it was vewry loud where we were. That was my only complaint, very annoying!
Bar is cozy Food is excellent Reception areas are clean and comfortable Staff approachable and helpful
Unable to open curtains in my room as peope were passing by the patio style door
nice layout, close proximety to the town, clean rooms
drink was over priced. we were not informed when we were booking in that breakfast was 10e extra each as you normally would in other hotels, hence i ended up paying 10e for 1 cup of coffee and 1 slice of toast. when we arrive the receptionist informed us that they may not have a room for us as they had given the room that had been allocated to us to somebody else.
